  • What Payment Methods do you accept?

We accept Cash, Cashier’s Checks, Paypal, Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express, but a credit card must be on file for the car deposit and damage deposit.

  • Do you offer refunds?

We do not provide any refunds, returns or exchanges of any kind. Our goal is to provide you with the superior service. If you have an issue of any kind during your rental please let us know so we can make appropriate arrangements.

  • Do you have an Age Limit on Luxury Rental Cars?

Yes. Minimum age is 25 years with a clean driving record. Chicago Car Rent has the right to refuse a car rental to those with major moving violations, DUI convictions and any other major infractions.

  • What is your Cancellation Policy for Rental Vehicles?

Please note Chicago Car Rent does not provide refunds if the vehicle is used less than the reserved hours and/or days. There are no refunds for cancellation within 72 hours of reservation time/date. Cancellations up to 1 week before reservation may qualify for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 1 week up to 72 hours before reservation may qualify for a 50% refund. For refunds and cancellations some exclusion may apply, examples include the following but are not limited to: holidays, special Orders, long term rentals, special events, extenuating circumstances.

  • Do you charge for Delivery / Pick Up on your Luxury rental cars?

For Delivery/Pick up certain charges may apply, depending on the rental period and distance. Chicago Car Rent will provide you with that information at the time you make your reservation.

  • Do you charge a fuel surcharge if we bring back a car with less gas than you provided in the vehicle?

Yes. A $25 fee plus missing fuel amount will be charged to your credit card on file if the fuel level will defer. Chicago Car Rent will provide you with a full tank of fuel.Our fleet is 100%luxury cars so each car must be filled with 93+ octane gasoline, and the fuel receipts must be showed at the end of the reservation.

  • Do you offer additional Insurance on your cars and who pays if I get into an accident?

The driver is responsible for any damages, liabilities, etc that may occur when renting the vehicle. If the renter is in need of additional insurance then please inquire within.

  • Do you allow International Drives to rent a Luxury Car?

International drives are allowed to rent from our luxury fleet. International drives must provide us with a valid passport and driver’s license from their country.

  • Is there a maximum allowance of mileage you can drive on one of your cars?

Daily mileage for most vehicles is 100 miles per day. Chicago Car Rent will provide you with the amount of miles allowance for the vehicle you rent and the renter is responsible for additional cost per mile if you drive over the stated mile allowance.

  • What If I get a Ticket while driving one of your cars?

The renter is responsible for any ticket incurred while the vehicle is rented. Parking, traffic, speeding, tolls, or any other violations issued while the vehicle is being rented is the responsibility of the renter. The renter must pay any fees, penalties, towing charges, impound costs and any other monies that are associated with the car during their possession.
